As part of our mission to inspire people to eat better, we caught up with our good friend and ambassador Fearne Cotton on what she’ll be doing this year to maintain a happy balance.
Mostly known for her impressive broadcasting career in TV and radio, Fearne’s since become a leading voice in the wellness movement with multiple books on cookery and self-care, as well as her #1 ranked podcast The Happy Place. She’s also a busy mum who shares the ups and downs of juggling the work-life balance.
How will you create a healthy difference in 2021?
Food plays a big role in my life, as I want to feel good and have enough energy for family time and work. I’m looking forward to preparing more meals from scratch with my family and spending time around the table eating at the end of a long day.
What is your approach to home cooking?
Cooking is a huge part of my day, and like you guys, I love using fresh, colourful ingredients that are good for my family.
Which MC recipes are you most excited about eating this January?
How do I choose? I love your Pulled barbecue jackfruit but I’m equally looking forward to new recipes like the Baked aubergine, spiced lentils, and minted slaw, as well as the Creamy mushroom penne on your Family menu.
What’s helped you make the switch to a plant-based diet?
It’s all about having a flexible approach. I’d encourage anyone to try eating less meat or even give Veganuary a go! Luckily, Mindful Chef makes it super easy.
