With the first national lockdown, we made a commitment to accept new and returning customers to our service as other online delivery services shut their doors. Today, as news is announced that England re-enters lockdown on Thursday, we are making that same pledge.
We thought we’d share what we’re doing to be prepared in light of the increase in demand that we are already seeing.
Multiple deliveries per week
Customers who would like more than one delivery a week are able to do this. You can select your desired delivery days in your account: click here and scroll down to ‘Delivery Days’. We deliver contact-free, nationwide 7 days a week.
Full recipe choice
In the first lockdown, we reduced our menu due to supply chain disruption – and also made a number of produce substitutions. This time we are more prepared so will do our best to maintain our full recipe selection of 16 recipes per week. You can help us by selecting your recipes as early as possible. The menus are online and can be selected up to 23rd December, our last delivery date of the year (our festive menu has just landed!)

Chef-prepared frozen meals
In April, we sold out very quickly, so we have fired up the kitchens over the weekend and our chefs are working flat out to make sure that we have enough stock. We now have a range of 24 healthy meals, which are available on Next Day delivery if ordered before 9pm.
We have had 8 meals on sale for the last few weeks. We have decided to keep that 20% discount, even as demand rises. In return, we ask that customers do not buy more than 8 of any individual recipe – so that there is enough to go around.
Nutritious smoothies
Similarly, during the last lockdown, our healthy smoothies sold out quickly. We now have 16 to choose from, and this weekend we have doubled our production to ensure we have enough. They are available for Next Day delivery if ordered before 9pm.
Next Day Care Boxes
We launched Next Day Care Boxes during the first lockdown to make sending healthy food to loved ones easy and quick. They have remained online ever since. We have now removed the delivery charge, have extended the cut-off to 9pm for Next Day delivery, and we have also increased our staffing levels to make sure we can keep up. The Care Box contains 3 meals for 2 people – if you’d like to send one to friends or relatives at any time during the next lockdown, we are ready to make that happen.
30% NHS discount
Our NHS staff discount is our small way of thanking those on the frontline, and has remained since the outbreak of COVID-19. This week, we will conduct another outreach to all NHS organisations to make sure they know we are here for them. Find out more here.
