Before you start

  • Preheat the oven to 200C / fan 180C / gas mark 6
  • Bring a large saucepan filled with salted water to a boil
  • Pull out a large frying pan & a baking lined baking tray

Heat the trout

  • Add the trout the baking tray and warm through for 10 mins, until piping hot

Prep the veg

  • Trim the broccoli and green beans
  • Add the broccoli and green beans to the saucepan and boil for 3-4 mins, until cooked, then drain

Heat the rice

  • Heat the large frying pan on medium-high heat
  • Add the rice and break it up with a wooden spoon
  • Add a splash of water and cook for 2-3 mins, until piping hot

Finish up

  • Toss the broccoli with half the sesame oil and ginger and garlic paste
  • Mix the remaining sesame oil into the rice, and season with sea salt

Plate up

  • Add the rice to bowls, topped with the trout, veg and drizzle over the gochujang
  • Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
