We were joined in the MC kitchen by ‘happy place’ super mum Fearne Cotton, as part of our campaign to inspire people to eat better, easily.
Most people know Fearne Cotton through her impressive broadcasting career in TV and radio, but she’s a multifaceted talent who’s also worked as a writer, illustrator and designer. With several books on cookery and self-care, and a cool 10 million followers on social media, Fearne is a leading voice in the wellness movement and we’re super excited to welcome her into our kitchen.
Fearne’s work is imbued with kindness, warmth and approachability as well as a cheeky sense of humour. She feels like a best mate, especially on her popular podcast The Happy Place, where guests share their life experiences and inevitable ups and downs. We invited her down to the Mindful Kitchen to cook a recipe with us so we could catch up with her about her most recent work, motherhood and making things more quiet and less hectic in 2019.
Finding time as a mum
Like many of our customers, Fearne is a busy and dedicated mum of two who sometimes finds it challenging to balance her career with parenting. She loves the Mindful Chef concept as it fits right in with her values of easy self-care and it makes it easy for her to whip up a healthy family meal even in really busy times.
Cooking is such a huge part of my day! It’s all about what you are eating; like you guys I love using fresh, colourful ingredients”
Guests like Fearne really embody the Mindful values, so we were excited to invite her to the Mindful Chef kitchen. Check out our social channels @mindfulchefuk for the latest videos of us cooking up a storm with Fearne, where she shares her favourite recipes and her number one healthy eating tip.
