It looks like plastic, feels like plastic but is 100% compostable – introducing Natureflex. We’ve been working hard with suppliers behind the scenes to transform our packaging to one which is more environmentally friendly. Whilst most plastics can take years to decompose, Natureflex can decompose in 60 days under the right conditions.
Made from renewable raw material wood pulp this packaging will be able to keep your food fresh and is fully compostable too. We are still in the testing phase but think this might be one of the solutions in our bid to move away from plastics towards a more circular economy.
There are two ways you can dispose of Natureflex:
- Compost at home (it feels wrong but we think it’s the future)
- Place in your local food waste bin where it will be industrially composted
