Taking time to consider how you shop, cook and eat can lead to making more ethical choices as it allows you to reconnect with your plate&#8217;s journey, from farm to fork. It can also help to reduce food waste and ensure you&#8217;re putting the best ingredients in your body.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reclaiming and understanding the core meaning of mindfulness is important to us. For us, it\u2019s all about the opportunity to switch off, channel your inner cook and enjoy food that\u2019s not only been mindfully sourced and prepared, but also been mindfully cooked and plated by you.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Food can be a cornerstone of everyday mindfulness<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesse Kempner, our Head of Food, believes that mindful cooking and eating starts before you even get to the kitchen. \u201cUnderstanding where your food comes from and being more aware of how your choices impact the wider food system is fundamental to living more mindfully,\u201d she says. \u201cBeing more mindful of the whole process, and considering how you choose to shop, cook and eat, naturally leads to making more ethical choices.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTake a step back from rushing meals and reconnect with the whole process, from cooking to enjoyment. Cooking from scratch may feel like more effort than a takeaway, for example, but being aware of what&#8217;s going into your meal can help us avoid artificial ingredients and highly processed foods. Plus it brings a sense of satisfaction when you eat it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Our 2025 Impact Report is live<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re dedicated to improving the entire farm to fork lifecycle, which is why we\u2019re proud to share our 2025 Impact Report this week. From 1st-20th December, we encourage our community to fill their Mindful Chef box with a non-perishable food item, then send it directly to The Felix Project, free of charge.
