That\u2019s why we\u2019ve brought our Street Food menu back this summer with some of your favourites plus a whole load of new recipes to get stuck into. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ll be bringing our favourite flavours from around the world so you can enjoy a Street Food Fiesta from the comfort of your own kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re so excited for the return of our Street Food range (it has been bubbling like a noodle soup rustled up on the bustling streets of Indonesia). But first, we\u2019re going to dig into exactly what Street Food is all about and what inspired our very own Mindful Chef Street Food menu.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I think street food is a fantastic way to encourage people to learn about other cultures. If you try food for the first time and love it, you are much more likely to want to learn about where it came from and about the people who make it. Food is such an important part of what makes a community and encourages people to share stories and experiences. Everything about street food is hard to resist. It always smells and looks so great, it definitely makes me want to tuck in! We have done our very best to keep this excitement at the core of our recipes.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; &#8211; Chef Jesse<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><b>What is Street Food?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether it&#8217;s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Street Food is typically made in front of you in an outside space such as a market.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ingredients that go into Street Food are usually very fresh and local, which means the quality of Street Food can be excellent. Plus its availability and the speed and ease at which it can be made makes it that much more enjoyable, especially in the hustle and bustle of city life. It really is no wonder why Street Food&#8217;s popularity is soaring globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>What is the most popular type of Street Food?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From Vietnamese baguette-style sandwiches known as a b\u00e1nh m\u00ec, to Mexican tacos or samosas stuffed with goodness, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">there&#8217;s so much choice when it comes to Street Food it&#8217;s almost impossible to settle on one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With all that in mind, our mouth-watering Street Food menu will definitely have something that takes your fancy.\u00a0 We\u2019ve brought back some tasty classics, such as our Chilli Con Carne Loaded Fries, Dan Dan Noodles with Sunflower Mince, and Japanese Style Karaage Chicken to name a few! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We&#8217;ve also introduced a whole load of new Street Food inspired recipes with our very own<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mindful Chef twist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Is Street Food unhealthy?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Street Food can be nutritious, it&#8217;s generally considered unhealthy due to its \u201cjunk food-style\u201d nature. Often being high in saturated fats and cooked with excessive oil for quick preparation, Street Food can sadly slip into the \u201cunhealthy\u201d category.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s where we step in. We\u2019ve taken the tastiest Street Food trends and turned them into the less-dirty-more-healthy versions you deserve.
