You&#8217;ll thank us later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>5-6 apples&nbsp;<\/li><li>1 tsp cinnamon&nbsp;<\/li><li>5 tsp of nut meg&nbsp;<\/li><li>1 x star anise&nbsp;<\/li><li>50g vegan butter<\/li><li>50g coconut sugar&nbsp;<\/li><li>1 tbsp cornflour<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cube your apples into 1cm (peel optional). <\/li><li>Place into a pan with the butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, 100ml of water and simmer for 30 mins on a medium-high heat. <\/li><li>Dissolve the cornflour in 1tbsp of water and stir into the compote and cook for 4 mins until it thickens.<\/li><li>Spoon over porridge for a delicious, healthy breakfast.
