You can get most of the nutrients you need from eating a varied and balanced Vegan diet. You need to choose what you eat carefully, like any other diet, to make sure you\u2019re keeping your body working as it should, and that it\u2019s getting everything it needs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>For a healthy Vegan diet we recommend still striving for those 5 portions of fruit and veg everyday. You may even find this easier with your new diet which favours plants for your meals.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>Choose wholegrain starchy complex carbohydrates where possible for your rice, potatoes, bread, or pasta. This will help provide you with a variety of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. Our recipes always prioritise wholegrain and cut out those stodgy carbohydrates.<\/li>\r\n<li>Have dairy alternatives, like soya, oat, or coconut drinks and yoghurts.
